Job Description

We are currently hiring a Field Service Executive for our Thanjavur location. This role reports to the Regional Service Manager and involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment across industry, life science, and medical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical and mechanical testing, repairs, installations, and maintenance at customer locations in Thanjavur.
Diagnose system failures and provide effective solutions, escalating complex issues as needed.
Execute preventive maintenance on schedule and meet service turnaround targets.
Manage job scheduling and closure on online platforms.
Handle microscope installations and maintenance in research institutes, pharmaceutical industries, and life sciences.
Provide camera installation and software image analysis demonstrations.
Support channel partners and cater to customers in Thanjavur Tamil Nadu.

Business Division Expertise:

Equipment Installations, Maintenance & Troubleshooting in the following applications:

Industrial Applications: Microstructure analyses, inclusion measurement, contamination measurement, phase/grain analyses, image analysis.
Life Science Applications: Live cell imaging, time-lapse imaging, autofocus, multi-channel fluorescence, deconvolution, calcium imaging, colocalization.
Surgical Applications: Installation and maintenance of operating microscopes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

0 – 3 years of relevant experience.
B.E. in Instrumentation, Biomedical, Electronics, or Electronics & Telecommunication OR M.Sc. in Electronics or Physics.
Local or Native from Thanjavur.
Proficiency in computer applications like Excel, MS Word, and online call logging systems.
Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
